indoor engagement photo locations

Anyone have any indoor locations for engagement photo shoot? We wanted our photos at Valley forge but keep getting rained out. We have them scheduled for tomorrow now but want a backup indoor location. Anyone have any good ideas???

  • Longwood Gardens will let you do them at a specific time and you need to buy the photographer a ticket as well but they are GORGEOUS. The atrium/reflecting pool and the children's garden would make for AMAZING pictures.
  • You could check with Otts in Schwenksville - they have a huge indoor greehouse with a cave toprical flowers, and a waterfall. Lots of potential there.  Right near there is a park, a small old mill  and historic Pennypacker Mills if you can get outside in between the rain.
  • Thanks guys will check these out!

Reading Terminal Market!  We did some of ours there and they turned out so cute.
  • I love that idea, but under our time constraints we need something we can do within a 20 mile radius of Collegeville/King of Prussia so we can go right from work.

  • Well, I think things ended up ok. We decided to just go for it rain or shine. And actually the rain stopped for most of it until the very end. But we had preplanned to dress it up and picked up a colorful umbrella to at least make it look fun. So I am hoping the pictures came out ok. Can't wait to see them!

I'm sure they will be great! I love engagement photos in the rain! Using a colored umbrella always works well! Hope they turn out!
