So this is a post over the smallest little detail ever, but I'm meeting with my florist tonight and it's on my mind. What color will your and the BM bouquets be wrapped in? What color will the bouts be wrapped in? I don't know if I want the bouquets wrapped in ivory/white or the BM dress color. Same goes for the bouts. The guys are wearing black tuxes so black wrapping is an option too for those.

All of our bouquets, corsages, bouts are being wrapped in royal blue ribbon. 

I would choose a color that is different from the bridesmaids dresses for their bouquets so they will stand out more in pictures.

I believe I had decided all of ours to be wrapped in Orange ribbon which is our accent color.

Ours will be wrapped in ivory with some silver accenting....not sure of the name of the silver stuff our florist is using, but perhaps a similar combination would be pretty for you guys??

Fuchsia ribbon, most likely, for everything.  Possibly ivory ribbon just for mine.

Penny, we don't have another color really, just lavender and my bouquet might have a tiny bit of very light pink. What should the bouquet wrap be then? Just white or ivory? I don't really want to introduce a new color just for the wrapping.

Okay and one more question! My bouquet will be purple, the BM's will be all white. So should FI's bout be purple and the GM's be all white to match the girls?

we are doing vice versa from you - white bouquet for me, purple bouquets for the girls, white bout for fiance, purple bouts for the GM. I am torn on introducing some hints of purple in my bouquet, but regardless, we will keep the GM and fiance coordinating.

My FI is having the same colors as his GMs, but his will be slightly more intricate. But you can do whatever you want, really!

For the wrapping, we are doing beige twine. It goes with our wedding colors and overall style of the wedding. In your case, I would probably go with white/ivory (whichever your dress is) just so as not introduce a new color, as you say.

You could have it in pink. I think it'll look good if you match the BMs with the GMs while you and FI match.

Our color is red and white but with a splash of yellow, orange, pink, purple (yes, lots of colors!).

Our bouquets will be red, orange, yellow, orange, pink, purple but the bridesmaids' will have less red since their dress is red.

FI will have orange. GMs will have yellow flowers.

All of them will be wrapped in purple.

My bouquet is white/ivory and I'm wrapping in ivory ribbon.

BMs bouquets are all sorts of colors (blush pink, light peach, ivory, champagne, some blue, greens, etc.) and they are being wrapped in champagne-gold ribbon (which is kind of like the same color as their dresses).

Fiance's bout will be wrapped in ivory. GMs/fiance's father and grandfather's bouts will be wrapped in black. They are all wearing black classic tuxes. They will all have the same bout though, but fiance's will be a bit bigger and have some extra ivy/babies breath accents (one of our theme flowers is babies breath, so it's not totally high school prom).

All my bouquets except for mine will be wrapped in the same color as my girls dresses even the guys.

My bouquet is different shades of red and it will be wrapped in antique gold ribbon. My bridesmaids have red dresses so their bouquets will be a mix of red, fuchsia and purple flowers (our accent color) and will have red satin ribbon.  The BMs are also wearing gold jewelry and gold shoes.

FI and his groomsmen's bouts will be a red rose with antique gold ribbon and gold wire. They are wearing black suits and red ties with gold detail.

My florist decided what ribbon to use. I'm sure yours will be a big help in your meeting tonight, but it's always good to have ideas beforehand!

yes, what arumkumar said...I had NO IDEA what types of ribbons/silver accenting/etc. to use. Our florist suggested everything...if you have general color ideas/inspiration ideas, I am sure your florist will help you to come up with all the little details!!

Here's a different idea my florist suggested for my BM's bouquets:
Wrap them in a green the same color as the stems of the flowers.  This way, it is like a "neutral" color so that the color of the flowers stands out, but not the stems.  She showed me pictures of this, and I loved the idea.

PPs make a good point, talk to your florist. I think lavender would look great, that would probably be my first pick if they have white/ivory flowers. I also really like the green suggestion! That could be a nice even option!

Our florist suggested ivory. I think that's what we'll be using.
