Tastings/Menu planning

So, in 1 week, FI and I are traveling to our venue for our food/cake tasting (and doing cake tasting at a backup bakery just in case we don't like the in-house pastry chef).  Which got me thinking about menus! So:

- are you doing buffet, plated, or something else?
- What are you thinking of serving as an entree?
- What's your overall menu look like?
- What cake flavors are you having (or non-cake dessert things)?
