FI and I met our birthday weekend in Atlantic City, NJ on 7/10/10 we were both celebrating our bday and had mutual friends that met at Harrah's Pool. Once all were introduced was when we discovered we both had turned 26 that Wednesday! We talked the entire night and found out we where the same height literally drove the same truck but in different colors, had the same cell phone and lived 10min from each other. We have been together ever since. We dated exactly one year before he proposed to me. Our date is 8/27/11, which was our 1 year anniversay.

I definitely have answered this before, but figured I'd play again.

how did you and your fiance meet? We met on Spring Break in Cabo San Lucas (for real). Well, for me it was Spring Break from law school; for him it was a strategically-planned vacation with a bunch of his friends (he had been out of law school for like 3 years).

how long did you and your fiance date prior to getting engaged?  About a year and a half.

what is the date of your engagement? June 3, 2011 - My grandparents' wedding anniversary, incidentally. (He did not know that ahead of time).

We met online approximately 12 years ago. I wasn't even in high school yet. We maintained an online friendship until 2009 - when I decided to fly to Omaha, NE (From Ohio) to meet him. I was dating someone else at the time - but meeting him - something sparked - and thus began my whirlwind of dumping the guy I had been with for 4 years - for my best friend of 12.

how did you and your fiance meet? we swam together in college....started out as inseparable best friends until things just started to shift to something more after about 2 years of BFF-ism.

how long did you and your fiance date prior to getting engaged?  i am embarassed....i think i am the winner so far....6.5 years! FI was in pharmacy school and i was in law school for most of the time, then fiance was finishing his residency for two years while we did the long distance thing...then two months after fiance moved back to me, he proposed!

how did you and your fiance meet? The short version is, I was on vacation visiting my dad's family here in Quito for a month. I was staying with my cousin and we went to a bar to watch a soccer game. Her friend who worked with FI at the time invited him. We talked, got drunk, made out.. it was a done deal hahaha. That was my 3rd day there, and my 1st time out with my cousin LOL. how did you and your fiance meet? we went to high-school together but didn't "meet" until freshman year of college at his friends keg party where he asked me to be his beer pong partner lol.  We hung out with different crowds so we never talked but I always had a crush on him.

We got back together summer of 2008 when we both had shore houses down the street from each other in Manasquan which is much nicer then seaside which is where the Jersey shore is filmed so don't stereo type me!  My friends threw waterballons at his house our first day down.  Then I drunk texted him that night we met up the next day and spent the rest of our summer rekindling our love

how long did you and your fiance date prior to getting engaged?  we dated for 2 1/2 years from 19-22 then broke up got back together at 26 we have now been together for 3 1/2 years so total 6 years with a 5 year gap.

i graduated in 2010 and started at my firm right after the bar exam it's a small boutique firm and i have to guess extremely different from big law!! not sure if it is necessarily any more meaningful than biglaw, but i am happy, so i guess that counts for somthing...getting on theknot is such a good way to waste time when i don't feel like billing!!

how did you and your fiance meet? 

My friend and I got invited to a party at the lake (I knew a total of maybe 4 people there), and that was the first night I met FI, but it was brief. I actually liked his friend that night, and we exchanged numbers. The friend invited me to a birthday party a week later, and ignored me the whole night. FI and I spent the night talking and clicked right away (I found out later he was distracting me while his friend made out with two girls. Ya...)

I knew I wanted to date him but felt like I had to tread lightly so as not to affect his friendship, so I devised a plan and asked FI for "guitar lessons". I planned to move slowly, be friends for a while, and then see where it goes, but that didn't happen. Within a week of the birthday party he was my boyfriend. His friend got a little weird about it (even though nothing EVER happened - not even a date or a kiss), but he isn't really a good friend anyways so they kind of naturally drifted apart.

We moved fast. Said I love you in 2 months, moved in at 10 months, engaged at a year and a half. My roommates actually said within the first month of us dating that they thought we were gonna get married haha

April 12, 2011, three days after my birthday! I expected it on my birthday so he threw me off. FI had planned to wait until after my graduation (a week later), but when he bought the ring he lasted until getting home before deciding he was going to do it right away. So impulsive haha

how did you and your fiance meet? In High School. We met freshman year, he was actually in one of my moms classes (shes a TA) and she kept talking about him, plus we had a lot of mutual friends. We liked each other then but were too chicken to do anything about it. I did used to stalk him a little at his job at a bowling alley. Then, right at the end of our junior year he asked me out to a dance. We went and I fell in love. We didn't officially start "dating" until July of that year and we never looked back!

How did you and your fiance meet? Online. He sent me a copy/pasted letter that he sent to girls he thought were cute, so I messaged him back calling him out on it, then we started messaging back and forth, texting back and forth and then video chatting back and forth. After our first date we were pretty much inseperable.

How long did you and your fiance date prior to getting engaged? 8 or 9 months. I still can't remember when we first officially started talking. I know I agreed to be his girlfriend on August 14th though.

What is the date of your engagement? We got engaged on April 17th, which was Palm Sunday at church, and also happens to be my little brothers birthday which my fiance didn't realize until after the fact.
