So I'm trying to figure out my cash monies from here on out.
DJ- does not own the biz how much do I tip?
How much do I give the second shooter?
20% for MUA, not her biz?
Did you tip the server for the head table extra? Besides the grat. I mean.
How about ceremony musicians did you tip them? They get the whole fee so do I tip them?
The priest?
Re: Tips
DJ (ceremony & reception) - $100
Photog - $50
Maitre 'D - $300
Bridal Attendant (who served us & our family) - $80
MUA (own biz) - $15 extra... not sure if BMs gave tip too.
To be honest, I totally forgot about the bridal attendant so my dad gave him $40 and I gave him $40
MUA if he/she isn't self employed, then yes 20%. If they are self employed, then you can tip if you want to, but you don't have it.
Same thing with the DJ. If the DJ is self employed, then you don't have to tip them. But if you go with ABC DJs and Mark is your DJ, then you should tip him about $100.
Ceremony musicians... any time I've participated in the ceremony of the wedding, I only received the fee that was agreed on. Also--if it's a Catholic ceremony, don't forget to tip your altar servers if they are using the parish's altar servers. As a former altar server, that $20 from the best man for not fidgeting and holding a book was the best $20 ever.

If you have an officiant, do you tip them on top of that?
Officant... I'm not sure.
