Photo Location

Does anyone have any favorite locations for pictures inbetween the ceremony and reception around the Bensalem/Northeast Philly area? We had engagement photos done around center city (love park, the ball park, etc) and are looking for areas close to the reception so as not to miss the cocktail hour.  I am aware of the Bristol River Front, the Delaware river access in Bensalem, and another small location.  Any other ideas? Has anyone had pictures taken around Silver Lake in Croydon?

    I actually forgot about that, funny since I went to high school on those grounds.  I am not sure if Holy Family charges, as I know the high school does.  I will look into that, thanks!

    Sorry if this is posting again, but the original is not coming up...I was looking for picture location suggestions for in between the ceremony and reception in the Bensalem/Northeast Philly area. I am aware of the Delaware river access in both Bristol and Bensalem, as well as Holy Family College.  We had engagement pictures taken downtown, so we are looking to stay closer to the reception so as to be there for the cocktail hour. Any suggestions would be great!

    There is a large park in Northeast.  I can not remember the name.  But i just to walk my dog there all the time.  It's close to Mayfair.

    Pennypack does have some nice spots in there.  And I did go to Nazareth, but even as an alum you have to pay to have pictures on the grounds. :-/

    songbirdz--the deleting issue is something that the other mod and myself are trying to work on.  We have no idea why or how it's happening, but we are talking to TPTB of The Knot to figure things out. 

    Just do you know--if you click the RSS button at the top of any thread, even if the entire thing is deleted... you can still read the thread through the RSS feed.

    I had my pictures done at Holy Family---I'll be honest, I told my photographer I would contact Holy family to see how much it would cost, etc. I got caught up doing other wedding things and totally forgot. We still did the pictures there, no one ever stopped us, so I never had to pay. we did pictures by the gazebo and it was really nice
