desserts by design???

we are probally booking Northampton valley country club and there cake is included in the package, it comes from desserts by design. I can not find a website or any reviews< a found maybe 2 reviews that were from 5 years ago>, and they dont have a tasting or meet with you unless you want an upgrade so i am apprehensive about using them for my cake. The person in charge said they can credit us a certain amount per person if i want to use another bakery.

has anyone every used this bakery or heard of it???

    We're using them - our venue uses them, too. Doris is really awesome and accomodating. We got to meet with her and taste the cakes, though. (They were delicious!)

    oh that makes me feel alot better... nhvcc said we could meet with her but it's not needed, i thought that was weird! i wanna meet the person making my cake and taste them!!! i dont want to end up with a horrible tasting cake!

    Haha, I totally agree. Maybe if you call the bakery directly, they'll let you come in? Like I said, Doris is really nice and accomodating.

    I am using them for my wedding. I actually spoke with Doris the other day. She is very accommadating. We wanted a pumpkin spice wedding cake, so last year I contacted her and she made me samples that I picked up and took home to taste with my FI. Then, we just called her and told her what we wanted. Very nice working with them so far.
