*Bean*

Did that wedding happen yet that you're a BM in and are wearing the lavender JCrew Arabelle? We ended up switching our other J.Crew dress for that one and I was just wondering how it looked.

Yup! It was two weekends ago. We all loved the dress! It is really comfortable and very flattering on everyone. I like it so much that I'm going to use it for my rehearsal/rehearsal dinner. The one issue we had was that the fabric is really lightweight and the ceremony and cocktail hour outside with lots of wind... there were some Marilyn Monroe incidents.

omygosh 19 days!! But I have 100 things left to do!!

That's great though! Did you end up putting the little caplet sleeves on it? I thought about doing that but I felt like the cost of everything was already getting high and I think my girls like the strapless,  and I'm the only one who doesn't.

I feel like I have hundreds left too! I'm really excited for my bachelorette this weekend - I need a few days at the beach with no wedding things to do.

We could choose to have the cap sleeves if we wanted and 2 out of 6 of us got them. I was really happy with the sleeves. The tops of some of the other girls' dresses rolled over a bit and you could see the inside fabric (only if you really looked, since the bodice is ruched anyway), the sleeves made sure that didn't happen with mine. I don't have any full length pictures, but here are the sleeves:

Ooh I love the sleeves! J.Crew should really make a version of the dress with them on!

Oh I looooove that dress! Did you ladies wear full or cocktail length? I was considering doing a mix-n-match of the Arabelle and Evie ... But one of my BM's is full figured, I'm not sure how acommodating the gown size would be for her body shape. Did you have to get it altered at all or are they pretty true to their size?

The dress hit just above the knee. One of the bridesmaids was rather full-figured and it worked well for her.

I have tiny little booblettes, so I needed the bodice to be taken in a bit. Also, I had to go a size up from my normal JCrew size for the dress. So, they run on the small side.

Thanks Bean! I might have my friend get her measurements and give J.Crew a call first. I know she's a 14 normally so I'd feel terrible if it didn't fit. So pretty though.
