AW: Invite!

Ok I can't hold it in any longer! I've been designing our invite for the past week and I'm really excited about it! I just changed the first font this morning so it still needs FI's approval but I'm so excited about almost being done! I've changed our last names so you can still see the font, because I matched it with the RSVP request at the bottom. Def needs to be highlighted in some way because people here take ignoring RSVPs to another level lol! In the pic I have the RSVP font color in a very dark purple (could be even darker too) because I don't want it to stand out tooo much, but in black everything was starting to look like it blended in together. Should I just leave it black, or will a very dark purple be okay? Any other thoughts?





Another knottie helped me out sending me her template of the flower design so definitely big thanks to her! Oh this the Spanish version btw sorry, it's the first one I've been working on cuz it's majority. English is next lol

Very pretty! I think it's fine to go with the dark purple. It will stand out but not too much.

Just a question though:  Since it's 2 people (you and your FI)  should it be 'juntos'?  I know it may be different colloquially.

Thank you! I've looked it up, cuz I definitely second guessed myself at first lol, and all the sample texts say "junto". It becomes the meaning "together with ___" rather than the meaning "us together" if that makes sense. So the plural no longer applies.
And now that you've got me looking at the text very closely, I've just realized I've left my accent marks out! Ah!

No problem! I now see what you mean. That makes sense! I have a BA in Spanish and the one thing that was always drilled into us was the importance of agreement whether singular/plural or masculine/feminine so it made me look a little closer.

I love the font and the colors, great choices :)

Yeah I hear ya! Even though I learned it as a little kid, it still drives me nuts to this day. Like when I recently found out it's 'el tequila' and not 'la tequila' because it is alcohol which is a masculine word. *rolls eyes* Ridiculous if you ask me. It just doesn't roll off the tongue as easily to put an 'el' before a word that ends in -a... but whatever lol.

Thank you everyone! I'm very excited. FI has approved the curly script font with the only request to change the font of the "12" he says the handwritten look makes it look too informal. Which is no biggie, we're just about good to go!
