Audubon House / Jeffrey Miller catering

I recently got married at the Audubon House at Mill Grove and want to recommend it to other Philadelphia-area brides.  It's about 30 minutes outside the city in Montgomery County, sits on a BEAUTIFUL site next to the river, is surrounded by miles of hiking trails through woods, and is a special spot (the first American home of naturalist and most famous bird-watcher ever, John James Audubon).  It's a nature preserve, and an especially great place for anyone interested in helping to support them while also getting married in a beautiful outdoor place.  They have a gorgeous old restored barn where we held our ceremony (receptions can be held in here too, if your guest count isn't large), and an outdoor pavillion (made of wood, roofed, with wood beams on the ceilings and open sides/walls) that they recently built when they decided to start hosting weddings - that's where we had our reception.  The house (home of JJA) is now a quirky and very cool old museum with lots of stuffed birds around, and is available for rent too.

One of the most important things to know before considering this place for your wedding is that they have only one caterer they work with - you can't bring in your own.  The caterer is Jeffrey MIller, and they happen to be outstanding, but they're not the most affordable caterer in the area.  If you love food, though, and decide that food is a focus for you, Jeffrey Miller is really awesome.  We had a great experience with them -  they were fun to work with, not a single thing went wrong at the wedding (that I saw), the service was fantastic, and, most importantly, everyone RAVED about the food.  Something I didn't really realize or appreciate right away is that when using a caterer like Jeffrey Miller that has a sole monopoly (for lack of a better word) on a venue, they do so much more than just provide the food - they set up the chairs for the ceremony, they set up nearly everything about your reception but flowers and music, and they make sure everything runs smoothly during the event so that there's no need to ask a family member or friend to coordinate things for you.  That was really valuable, because I knew right away that I didn't want the expense or the presence of a wedding coordinator and wanted to be able to have a party that felt like us, so the extra help from Jeffrey Miller in tying up all the loose ends was really great.  All those details (renting tables, chairs, linens, etc) that could have taken up a lot of time were taken care of, and I could focus on other stuff that felt more meaningful.

How many people does the venue hold.  I am looking for something like this but we have 300-350 people.

I am looking at the Audubon House but was wondering what the cost was, if you don't mind me asking how much per person was it to have your wedding there?
