Who do you "know" and how do you know them?

Northstar and I know some of the same people.  Her H's uncle lives across the street from my parents AND she worked with my friend's cousin at her last job.

Madam & I apparently went to college together...  but I don't think we ever met.  She is friends with some of my theatre folk,  but I really didn't go to non-theatre parties ever.

I know TCT from high school. We had English class, last period, senior year together.

Mana and I realized we knew each other from youth group in high school, and now we go dancing together every wednesday.

RA and I realized that we both have a mutual friend. FI & I are big in our Moose lodge, and this mutual friend is marrying FI's 'sister'. (He's really close to their family, and they consider FI their son)

Lemma & I know some mutual people.
RA & I went to college together.

And I am IRL friends with BP and Jesster (but that's from this board so I don't think that counts...)

Also Stacy & I have a mutual friend.  Someone she used to dance with and I went to high school and college with.

Ooodsie & I also have a mutual theatre friend.... and this friend ALSO knows Jesster!

And LadyJ & I mutually know someone.  A guy I went to HS with.

Except for having met a bunch of you, I don't think I have any prior connections with anyone.  Whomp whomp.  DH used to be in the 'Nova choir with a gal who's now on the nest, though.

Cait and I went to the same high school.....but I'm about 8 years older.

Drink knows two of my best friends.

Ooodsie is my realtor and Amer is my neighbor. :-)

And from what I can tell me went through the same music awesome music program at the school

Ooodsie when to elementary school with one of my good friends.

Birdie119 (who isn't on that much) and I went to high school together.  In fact I think she dated one of my best guy friends for a hot second. 

Jesster and I have a mutual friend as well-- she went to high school with her and I worked with her at Club Apple.

Lady J and I have a mutual friend/family member   Her hubbie's cousin is one of my good friends from high school

ditto to Madam A- her, BP and I and our hubs are hang out friends through here

hahah RA- I was going to say that.... I know a soon to be 'Mary' that also knows RA and Ooodsie
She actually lived across the street from my DH- and we were in band together (geek here!)

Lets see.

I didn't officially meet Stacy until the board but she used to rent on my street and now lives around the corner from me.

Lemma and I hung around the same people Summer 04 but never actually hung out.

candmc (hasn't been around in about a year) hubby is also a mummer and we have some mutual friends though mummery.

Cait - One of my groomsmen worked at Iron Abbey for like 2 weeks. Did I ever tell you that? haha. His name is Reece. He worked in the kitchen.

SteffieL and I cheered together 10th and 11th grade (she was a grade ahead of me), so I know her.

Recovering and I have a friend in common who she went to HS with and I went to College with.

I'm pretty sure that's it, other then the IRL friends I have from meeting people FROM this board.

Oh, and there were two lurkers, one I went to HS with, and one who is my SIL... but no one would recognise the names.

Oh I forgot one, Carm who's name escames me in TK world (she had two yorkies as her siggy) lived down the hall from someone in college that my mom was good friends with her parents. She is her little sister's god mother (the girl she knew, not carm). The chick found me on FB for being FB friends with her, and now bothers my sister all.the.time with parenting advice. Thanks carm!

RA and I probably have mutal aquaintances as the girl I moved here from MN with works in the theatre world here and seems to know everybody, heh. Other than that, I'm fairly new so I don't know anyone IRL yet.

Yess.. we were supposed to get together last week, but she went out of town for a funeral.  We have a tentative date for the 30th... and she better write it in her calendar this time!  That's right Miss Megan Lynn.. I'm talking to you and I know you lurk on this board!!!
