I have a make up trial with the company in a few weeks. Any suggestions on make up type? I am really interested in air brush but I'm not sure how well it works. What about eye shadow colors and false lashes? I want a natural look. Thanks!

I did not have airbrush as Casey said she did not recommend it for brides over 30.  

She decided what colors to go with after I described the look I wanted.  I went with individual fake lashes.  I was REALLY happy with my look.

I had my trial with Casey at Dylan Michaels Cosmectic and she did not reccommend airbrushing for me personally (under 30), but they will do it for ya. I told her I wanted a natural look but with a little more dramatic eye than a usual night out look. I agree with NCV that the individual fake lashes are AMAZING! Both my FI and I loved the look and he likes a natural look too.

Just explain to her the look you want, bring a picture if you found something you like and then they'll get to work and you can discuss what you like and don't like as much as the trial goes along.

I just want to echo the other responders. At my trial, we didn't talk color choices per se - it was more that I described the type of look I wanted (so you mentioned more natural) and then Casey selected what colors she thought would work best for me. Don't stress out too much about colors and stuff - they mix all of their own makeup, so all of their colors are their own (it's not necessarily something you can look up ahead of time, you know?), and if you're curious or on the fence about false lashes, then ask to try them!  That's what a trial is for, and I'm pretty sure they'd be happy to let you ask questions and experiment  They're fantastic, so have fun!

Oh, I meant to ask, if you didn't use the air brush, what kind of foundation did you use? Powder, liquid?

I used Cindy and she was fabulous.  She said I didn't need airbrush but we tried it in the trial and it looked great!  In saying that, I used airbrush for the wedding day and my makeup stayed on the entire night!  Talk to her about it and see what she says.

i used cindy at dylan michael. She used a mineral powder as the foundation- no airbrush. The makeup looked amazing. She did all 7 of my BM's and my mom. The makeup stayed on the entire night as well and still looked flawless. I didn't do fake eyelashes, only because mine are so freaking long.
Also, don't worry about colors. She will ask you what feature you want to "pop". From there, she asks what colors you normally wear on a daily basis and what look you are going for. Then she looks at your skin color, eye color, hair color, etc and just does her thing.
