end of may weather

so what is your ladies input on weather/emergence of outdoor flowers in the end of may? the venue my fiance and i picked has a beautiful outdoor garden/lake which will also host out ceremony. Any ideas on what we can expect in terms of florals/temps? I tend to always be cold and love lots of color but i'm a little nervous the end of may (memorial day weekend to be exact) will still be a little cold/bland. Thoughts?

The weather here in May this year was great so hopefully you'll have the same luck! My cousin got married May 20 and it was 80 and sunny. I know nothing about things blooming lol but maybe ask your venue what sort of flowers they have on their grounds. They may even have photos from around that time of year so you can get a feel for what the grounds will look like.

my venue showed me pictures from the month I picked, which is why I ended up choosing August. By September, a lot of the summer flowers were placed with mums. So, I'd ask to see some photos. They may have some on their facebook page.
