Courthouses?

Does anyone know of any courthouses around Doylestown, New Hope, Churchville, Southampton areas that have interesting architecture? I am thinking that I want somehwere a little prettier than the Doylestown Courthouse. (though I have not see much of it.)

Re: Courthouses?

  • The courthouse is usually in the county seat of each county. So the courthouse for Delaware County is in Media, for Chester County in West Chester, and the one in Doylestown is the one for Bucks County. If you don't like the one in Doylestown you would have to go to another county.

There are several smaller disctrict courts all over Bucks County. They are usually converted old houses or in office parks or office buildings. You would have to visit them all to see if one suited you.

  • Thanks, I will have to check that out. I know that Doylestown is the one we would have to go do, as it is right up the street from us, but we are trying to find something a little different while still keeping it small with a courthouse feel.
