Sorry I have been gone for awhile. It's Christmas break and FI took the first two weeks off from work so we could have some much needed quality time together.
We have had some major checks thoguh! I had a meeting with a florist two weeks ago and I am 99% sure we are gonna go with her! Her work is fabulous and her prices are amazing. We picked out the flowers for the bouquet- Blue Orchids, Green hydrangas, and Purple callalillies(and of course peacock feathers). Ben's butteniere will have an Orchid with a peacock feather while the grooms men will have a purple callalilly with a peacock feather.
We had our first offical planning appointment today. FInalized the ceremony time to 6:30 with the reception ending at 11:30. We were able to walk around and look at the site again and figure out all the decorations I need to be working on.
We have a catering appointment on Friday which i am so excited about! I am very stressed about food selection (I believe we are going with finger foods, we may actually decide to do all of FI's and I favorite finger foods)
His mom is making us a small version of our cake to see if we like it! and we have bridesmaids dress shopping on Saturday.
I forgot to add that we also purchased out wedding bands! They are amazing and I love them.
I feel like I have done so much yet still have so much to do!
