  • Not going to lie that's difficult.  Esp if you want all inclusive, tax and grat for that price.

I will suggest Mendenhall Inn/ Concordville Inn.  They are a bit further than 40 min from KOP but if you are doing everything there it's not horrible IMO.  I thought about it, but my church was in Bryn Mawr so it was out of the question.

  • Did you look at The Waterford (Raddison Hotel in KOP)?

  • Have you looked at Drexelbrook? I'm getting married there in May. It's in Drexel Hill, so not too far from KOP. I'll post about my experience with them after our wedding, but so far they've been fine to work with. They offer weddings and outside ceremony starting at around $90...

  • I second Columbia Station - close to KoP, within your budget - especially on a Frid or Sunday - and has an outdoor ceremony area!

Another place would be Center Square Golf Course in Worcester - about 20 min.  from KoP - definitely in your price range and pretty outdoor ceremony area.
  • We just booked the St.Davids Golf Course in Malvern, super close to KOP (our ceremony is at Valley Forge) ...I'm sure they have an area they could do a ceremony there since that's what we were originally planning to do. We also looked at Chester Valley Golf Club also in Malvern, they definitely do a ceremony there. They have very pretty grounds. We had an issue with our date being available and the guy there getting back to us. The prices were a little above $100 pp but there are probably ways to lower the cost (buffet style, Fri night wedding) and they can usually work with your budget.
  • I think the Warrington Country Club starts at about $90 per person...try looking there.

  • I was also going to suggest the Mendenhall.  They have Friday packages that start at $75 per person and that is including everything (tax & gratuities)  They also have a cute patio area where you can have an outdoor ceremony.

I'm getting married at The Old Mill in Rose Valley.  It has a rental fee, but they'll work with any budget that you have, so it might be worth a shot!  They also have several beautiful spaces for an outdoor ceremony.

We also looked at Paxon Hollow and they had a package for around $100 but were flexible as well.  Also, the Edgemont Country Club was very affordable and had a nice outside area.

I was really frustrated at first too, but don't worry, you'll find it!
  • Check out the Farmhouse at People's Light and Theatre.  It's located in Frazer/Malvern, and about 15 minutes from KoP.  My friend is having an outdoor wedding there next May.  My MOH's sister also got married there, and she said it was beautiful.  I think it's around your price range.

  • I'm getting married at the Audubon Center at Mill Grove in Audubon right near KOP. It's a little over 100 but you could lower costs other ways. It's the perfect outside spot!

<div>Really?  I'm shocked!  Does this include tax and grat?</div>
  • No its not including tax and gratuity, sorry I should've put that. There's also a $500 room fee not included. That just includes the hors d'orves (I know I spelled that wrong, LOL), open bar (all top shelf), and the salad and entree. I was just thinking of the base pp price. Sorry!
  • Check out Pine Crest Country Club.. that's where our reception is. and I love them! Sherry is soooooo nice. and they make me feel like i am their friend and I ill be cared for 100%
  • Check out www.liascatering.com
Their Ballroom at Boothwyn is in Boothwyn, PA which is about 45 minutes from you but they have an all -inclusive for $80/pp with ceremony on site. Food, alcohol, ceremony, reception, and cake included. It's beautiful and the food is great.

  • Have you looked at the Merion Tribute House?  You have to bring in an outside caterer, but it's a lovely place and set up perfectly for weddings.

  • Meredith Manor in Pottstown!  Mine is around $85 per person (not including site fee) but it does also include the cake and centerpieces, and you provide the alcohol so that saves on cost, too.  They also have a less expensive package.  Mine is in June of this year, nice month pick!

  • Ditto Lia's catering, depending on the time of year you're getting married you can go lower than that.  It's part of a firehall though once you pull i the parking lot you'd never know it.  You might check out William Penn Inn, it's down the road from Normandy Farms, they have an outdoor area for a ceremony or you can use one room for a wedding, one for reception.  Not sure what the total they can accomodate is since we were looking for around 100 but that was good for their small room.  Let us know what you decide on!
  • I know I'm late to the game, but check out the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.  I know they have a chapel on site for ceremonies, but I'm not sure what they do for outdoor ceremonies.  The caterer there, Ludwig's Gourmet, was great about working with my budget.
