Mummers?

After watching the parade, we were wondering what it would cost for a small Mummers group to play a short set at a wedding?  Has anyone on the board done this?  Who did you hire?  TIA

    It depends on what group you hire, how many guys play, if they wear their suites and location.

    I am considering this as well and have priced out a few options.

    There is a range depending on the string band you contact, the amount of time, and how many you would like to come... but generally it was between $300 - 600 for 15-20 minutes with about 4-6 Mummers.  Again, it varies depending on who you use.

    If you go here, there are numbers listed to call or you go to each bands website and inquire separately.

    Also, I found another local agent that quotes for a bunch of different bands, not just Mummers.  http://www.mansuremusic.biz/index.html
