Anyone use this? I was thinking of getting this or something like it for the wedding, I know the foundation comes off on my phone after I got my make up done, so I don't wait it coming off on FIs tux, LOL. So does it set the make up on? So it won't rub off onto other things? RA? Can you help me with this question?   Thanks!

A lot of the MUA that I know are OBSESSED with this stuff... and apparently you can only get it online.  I've never used it personally, but the people I know who use it swear by it.

The make up setting spray I use is by Urban Decay.  It's 16 hours and it's called All Nighter.  They have 2 more now... one called Dew Me for dry skin... and one called DeSlick Spray for oily skin. 

There used to be a make up setting spray company called Skindanavia, and they went out of business.  Urban Decay bought them out and is using their formula.  For the longest time, Skindanavia was the #1 make up setting spray. 

Using a primer would help, too.  Are you doing airbrush or liquid foundation?

Liquid I think. I only did trials with that, do you think I should switch to airbrush? And LOL Skindanavia, cute name. I will go buy it!  So that is the one I should get, not the UD brand?  And I tend to get oily when wearing liquid make up, should I get the deslick kind instead?! Oh decisions decisions.

The Skindanavia one is the Urban Decay one.  Skindanavia went out of business until Urban bought them out.

Defintiely get the Deslick one... and definitely use a primer if you're oily.  I would go with a dimethicone based primer rather than a water based or a silicone based primer.  You'll like the feel better.  Urban Decay's face primer (the pore perfecting one, NOT the brightening one), Benefit's Picture Porefect or Tarte's ReCreate primer.  They have a drier feel... and they absorb oil better than silicone.

Oh ok thanks!   I will get it now actually and use it, my face felt crappy last night after  the GTG so I washed it right when I got home so this stuff should help with that feeling right?

airbrush will stay on longer but there are a number of setting sprays that work great. I know there are a number of them at sephora.  As all makeup these vary with different skin types. Also you want to make sure you use one that doesn't have a SPF cause they will have a weird reflective quality that isn't good with flashes!

What did it feel like that you had to wash your face?  Just the makeup being gunky?

Def no SPF and def no mica, either!  Both are reflective.

Felt oily, like i touched it and it felt moist haha. I was like ewe. Plus I don't wanna keep make up on if I don't need it on, my skin is acting so stupid lately and having bad pimples.  Like under the skin ones, and cystic ones. GAH!  So I am trying to keep it tame.  I am loosing this battle though.

Casey told my mom that she does not recommend air brush for girls older the 28ish.  It brings out fine lines you don't realize are there it seems.  

I haven't had my trial yet, but my mom got the 411.

Shouldn't MUA have this type of thing?

See... that to me says that that person doesn't feel comfortable with an airbrush machine.  Airbrush makeup is amazing for older women because it hides lines, not accentuate them.  Mineral makeup accentuates them.  But airbrush makeup is fantastic. 

B2B--you could be using too much foundation, especially if you're using a higher end foundation now.  You don't need to use as much product for higher end foundations because there is more pigment in them.  You're better off doing it in very thin layers.  Start in the center of your face and work your way out.

NCV Cindy didn't tell me that, so idk, I might just stick with regular though since I didn't see the airbrush make up on me. I could go see Cindy again though.

I use smashbox now and have a foundation brush, I only use two squirts of the stuff... but maybe I am using too much.  It didn't seem like too much but I am no pro

Do you put the foundation right on the brush?  You should put it on the back of your hand and use a bit of foundation at a time.  I love smashbox's foundation... so you shouldn't have an issue with it being too oily bc it's oil free.  But start in the center of your face and work your way out.... and most importantly let the brush do the work for you.

Yea I do that, well besides the start in the center and work my way out.  I will see what happens next time. I even set it with a little bit of loose powder. Hmm. Maybe my skin is just crazy

I used the Urban Decay All Nighter (they didn't have the other two at the time we bought it), and LOVED IT.

We all know my problems with sweating my makeup off at the time of the wedding.  I had my makeup done, and it was liquid.  He sprayed me once, and then told me to spray again once I got home (to allow it to dry on my skin first). 

I never had an issue all night.  I sweat, but it was like it sweated thru the makeup, instead of with the makeup.  Not one bit of my makeup budged all night.

FYI, Model in a Bottle (the other brand) isn't being made anymore, from the research I did when I went to go buy it.  But the Urban Decay stuff worked really well, and it didn't bother my really, really sensitive skin, either.

Also, MAC makes one too, but I can't remember what it's called.  It was more expensive, but I have heard others say it was better than Urban's.
