Has anyone used The Pros??

Hey ladies! So I am in the process of researching DJs, photographers, and videographers for my Nov 2012 wedding at Cairnwood. I have priced a few places out and then I came across the Pros. All of their prices were a lot cheaper than almost every other company I've talked too. Has anyone used this company before for their wedding or currently using them for their upcoming wedding? Thanks for your help

Do Not Do It. Back away very quickly. Hell, run. Don't ever give them your contact info, or they'll call you until you lie and tell them the wedding is off. Dead serious. I used them for my first wedding- Big mistake. BIIIIIIGGGG mistake.

I believe there is a post a page or two back (or if you do a search on the bottom of the page for them) that outlines the difficulties with them. What's your budget? I'm sure the ladies on here can give you some great suggestions, for all budgets.

One of my family members used the Pros for pictures.  They were okay though, nothing too special.  They were guaranteed a certain number of shots and most of those shots are just repeats of the same thing.  I don't know what your budget is but my photographer is Photography by Leah.  She has a website and facebook page.  She is really great to work with and I can't wait for her and her husband to shoot our wedding in July.  For 2 photographers, full editing, a copyright cd and 8 hrs of coverage is $2,000. 

Dipsontop also used her and they were very happy with thier pictures too

Thanks for the heads up! I will def be running far far away from them. The budget that we set is we would like to get photography and video for $6,000. I havent even started to look at video prices so I am not to sure how much that usually runs. Does anyone know around what that usual costs? 

Bballgirl thanks for the recommendation! I will def look into it. That seems like a pretty reasonable pricce.

Many good quality videographers are around 2-3k I would say.  My photog is around 2k to start. I say that you have a nice budget there. Look in my siggy for the Philly blog link. Lots of recs there.

I agree...run away!!! My brother and SIL had them for their wedding and the videographer had on this tacky shimmering white jacket with "The Pros" written in turquoise sequins.  It was hideous!!! And he stood in front of my mom for the entire ceremony!

DON"T DO IT!! my current reception site wont even allow their brides to book the Pros at their receptions site (not allow them on the property) because so many customers/brides have complained about this company. Good Luck

far away...i almost went with them before doing research. thank god i didnt. take our advice. you wont be happy with them.

I am using Craig Single of Single Exposure Photography and Martins Video. I am getting everything (photos & videos) for $4,500. That includes a lot! PM me for more info!

Hi, i posted the same question last week or so regarding the Pros too - for their DJ service. I got the same advice as you: Run away! So i did.

I checked out other DJs from the recommendations i received and we found a great DJ now.

The guy that DJed at my best friend's wedding, his company does a plethora of other things, including photography and video. I know the website looks... cheesey... but I almost used him because I know he's a professional. He's done things for the Obamas, Donald Trump, and Ed Rendell. He's a professional, really great, wonderful guy. I'd recommend looking into using him. 

It really doesn't sound like The Pros are... pros.

I went to one of  their open house things and they seemed really pushy, sort of like used car salesmen. I looked at their photos and videos and thought they were all pretty bad. They called a lot, during hours when I was at work. I just told them I booked other vendors and asked them to remove me from their list and they left me alone.
