When did it start to feel real??

We saw our Pastor on Saturday, for the first time to dicuss the wedding. When we left I said to my FI, I feels real now. It really has sunk in now.

So i was just wondering what you did that made you think this is really happening??

A few moments so far have really hit me like this.. we felt like that too when we went to meet with our pastor the first time. I also did when we selected our music (and our organist played the beginning of the Wedding March!) and then again when we sent out the save-the-dates. And it will probably happen again at my fittings.

Hasn't happened yet!  In my mind we're just playing house and daydreaming about a fantasy wedding that's not really happening. haha

It felt real when I tried my dress on and also placed a deposit down for our ceremony/venue!

When my actual dress came in and I tried it on for the first time.  I was bawling (with happiness, of course)   !!!

I just sent my invites out on Friday and started receiving RSVPs.  Also my shower is Saturday so it's feeling pretty real right now.  I'm 60 days out!

I had bought my dress, asked my bridesmaids and it didn't feel real until I was standing in the reception hall that I chose thinking of all my guests dancing and enjoying it!

I don't know if it feels real yet but I'm starting to notice that my savings is shrinking and that's pushing the feeling along.

For me, it went from feeling like it was SO. FAR. AWAY. to holy what the what how do we ONLY have X days left?!?  My dress coming in sorta did it, but now that the invtes are out, RSVPs are coming in, and I just had my shower this past weekend all pushed me over the "this is definitely real" edge!  There are days when I still don't *really* feel like this is all happening for me.  I think many of the little moments along the way will give you that feeling = )

I don't think it'll feel real until I get back from my friends wedding in July. That'll pretty much be close to 90 days out.
