Did anyone watch last night? Holy cow. That first birth with the shoulder problems.... I was literally sitting on my couch crying. Glad DH was already in bed.

I watched it. I'm curious why they didn't do a c-section once they knew there was a problem?
I would also kill DH if he was like the husband with ADD!

I was wondering that too, about not doing a c-section. Maybe the baby was too far down the birth canal? I don't know, but it was scary.

That husband with ADD was annoying but kind of funny. I wonder how much of that was editing to make him look totally nuts?

I didn't see it, but what was the issue?

My little sister was a 10 lb preemie. Dead serious. They almost had to break her shoulders to get her out- she was too far down the birth canal to do a c section.

I forgot all about it! I'll have to pull it up On Demand.

The one I last watched had the woman that was having her second child. The first was was over 9lbs I think and they broke his collar bone during delivery because he was so big and couldn't get him out.

I don't think it would be a good idea for me to watch this. I'm already teetering on the idea of whether or not I want to have kids, and I have a feeling this show might push me over the edge.

If you want to have kids, the show makes you want to even more. If you don't want to, it'll confirm that as well. Which is kind of funny. But seriously, I was in tears last night... Ben was in the room and overheard a lot of it and looked up from his laptop to watch for a few minutes too even.
