Price Ranges for Jack Faulkner and Cescaphe

Hi all,

I am curious about pricing for Jack Faulkner Orchestra for a band and Cescaphe for the reception. I know I could contact them directly, but at this point, I am just researching and do not want to be hassled by vendors.  I did some investigating for caterers and my phone and email have not stopped.  I am also on a budget and want to know if either of these vendors works with couples who don not have an arm and a leg to spend.  Any thoughts or advice?

Hey there - I got married at Cescaphe, I can give you info if you need.  They don't really work with budgets- they have one set price and no upgrading/downgrading.  Just leave your email and I'll give you more info.

    good luck!

Cescaphe is a set rate and probably won't work if you're on a tight budget (don't know what your budget is).  For what they offer, it's a good rate though.  They provide more food than you've  ever seen and their locations are beautiful.  I've been the the Curtis Center and have heard only great things of their ballroom.

Plus a word of advice: Get used to your inbox being full, it's not going to get any better.
I made a folder in my email for each type of vendor so that I could organize things.  If I don't feel like reading something when it comes I just put it in the appropriate folder and read it when I'm ready.

Good luck with your planning Smile

Jack Faulkner was in the 8-10k range I believe.  Cescaphe runs about 150/pp.  Not much flexibility there, they won't really downgrade their packages because they pride themselves on the insane amount of food and drinks they offer.  Maybe if you did a Sunday in offseason you could get them to work with you... but they are pretty much booked for every Saturday from now until 2011 I've heard.

Also - in regards to emails, I recommend you create an email address JUST for wedding stuff.. that way it won't overtake your normal inbox.

THIS!  I did not do this and really wish I had.  It wasn't terrible, but it was a PITA to have to do massive deletes every day.

while i was looking, i learned that cescaphe/curtis atrium has a 200 person minimum.  even though their per person price is pretty reasonable (considering what it includes), the minimum makes it way out of reach (at least for me).

Friday minimum is 175, at least that's what it was when we booked.

They are willing to work with the minimums during off season.. but thats the only time as far as I know.

Although Cescaphe has a 200 person minimum - they will work with you if you book a Friday or Sunday or off season (January, February). Also, if you can't reach the minimum you can throw your vendor meals in that count as well.

    Good Morning,

I'm in the begiinning stages of planning and just need to gather some pricing information for downtown venues.  I've heard some great things about Cescaphe and would appreciate if you can share the prices with me.

    Thank you,

  • DO NOT USE CESCAPHE EVENT GROUP.
Joe Volpe and Cescaphe are in breach of contract.
They had an operational issue at the ballroom location resulting in power and AC failure during our event. The DJ was forced to scream introductions and power went out during our first dance. And the heat was an issue throughout the event as AC units kept failing. I cannot look at my video or pictures without crying.
They were aware of this issue as we have since found out that this occured at other events there.
Joe Volpe will not accept responsibility and doesw not stand behind his company.
We have been asking for return calls, meetings, and return of any profit (not Cost) Profit from the event. Joe continues to ignore this for 19 months. We are now forced to take legal action.
JoeVolpe's greed and lack of culpabilty is dissapointing, we had very high expectations and Cescaphe has failed to meet any of them.
