Fifth Anniversary 500 Comments Name Dropper
in July 2012 Weddings
So a friend of mine is getting married in October and her Bach party is in September and they are staying local and possibly getting  a  room in the city.  Well her BM want us to RSVP now for all of this when it is not until September 15th.. I find it to be a little obnoxious that I am suppose to know now if I can afford this.. is that wrong?

    It is a little early!  Let her know that it is hard for you to be able to budget for how much you can afford for September...A lot can happen between now & then...

    Whoa! a little anxious are we? Yea it's definitely too soon, especially for something that's going to be local.  Now if you guys were planning on going to Vegas or something then I totally get it.
    Is there some huge event that always takes place in your city that week that you need to book your room(s) in advance?

    Since it's local to you, that seems really strange.  There are plenty of places that do refundable bookings so if that was her concern, she shouldn't have to worry.  If you were flying somewhere, I would think that it's reasonable but unless there is a big local event then I wouldn't worry about things booking up quickly.
