Cheap venues/ catering please respond

Hi,
SO I will be having a fairly large wedding probably between 160-200 people because my fiance has a large family.  We are paying for everything on our own and we are looking to spend between $30-60 a person.  That would obviously include taxes, gratudity, food and alcohol.  We do not have a problem if we have to bring in our own alcohol if the catering cost is right.  Do people have suggestions?  Thank you!!

Have you looked at Union Halls or Fire Halls or outdoor parks?  You could DIY everything and rent the space inexpensively.

Georgine's in Bristol, PA might be able to do it and they include a DJ...

The VE Club is a German club in Warminster, PA. My friend is having her reception there at the end of this year and it's really inexpensive. For the space, food, and a medium level open bar, I think she's paying under $50 per head.

Also Georgine's probably can do it for that price. I've had their food and it's excellent but never went to a wedding there before.

We are having our wedding at mermaid lake in blue bell next weekend. Our price is definitely within that range. I can let you know how it turns out.

Food at Georgine's is excellent. Their banquet hall is upstairs and it is nice, i have only been for graduation parties, but my father's best friend got married there for second wedding.

Try some union halls. We are using P&P caterers and our price is about 75 pp, but that is Saturday evening so I know it is definitely cheaper for Afternoon weddings and Friday/Sundays. Also, we are in one of their most expensive rooms (they own about 8 or so) and each room has a different pricing bracket. Call them and tell them your budget. It includes food, alcohol, and cake, but taxes are extra. You can also try the Emerald room or the Maltese Room (which is in Bensalem). If you are thinkign "ew union hall" I would definitely recommend going to see them in person!

Kevin McFadden via the Camden County Boathouse is affordable. We're using him for our wedding there and it's $55 pp.
