July 2012 Weddings

Deadlines and details

Just for fun:

What's the most important outstanding item on your to-do list, and what's the least important that you already have completed?

Just wondering if I'm the only July bride who hasn't hired a caterer yet....but I have already made a custom activity book for kids at the reception....

Most imporant that hasn't been done yet---  Signing the venue contract, which will be done on saturday.  We've had it 'booked' since last february, but are finally getting everything signed and squared away.. I know.. brutal.

Least important thats already done.... I already booked my hair stylist for my wedding.. i guess it's still important but I think it's still a little soon.

  • Most important left I think is transportation for the guests.  Least important that I have done is most of my card box.

    Anniversary
  • Most important thing I haven't done: OFFICIANT. I put in caps to remind myself to do it already. I mean seriously, this is the person who will make it so we are actually married and I just keep stalling. Why is finding a Rabbi so hard?

Least important thing I've done: I've had my shoes since August.

  • Most important... OFFICIANT! The whole thing is driving me nuts!

Least important already completed? Hmm.. not sure. Jewelry picked out??
  • Most important thing trying to figure out invitations and ordering them.
least important probably would be i already booked my hair stylist and makeup.

  • Most important thing left: Pay for FI's wedding ring so I can pick it up

    least important thing done: cardbox
  • Biggest Thing Left to Do: We havent booked our honeymoon yet. Also, theres not a definite invite style picked.
"Smallest" thing have I done: Shoes! and I have both our wedding bands (which are a big deal, but they could have waited til May or so)

  • I haven't got a dj yet. And we still need to sign with our caterer. But I have my ring book (instead of pillow). I think t makes sense to work on one bigger item at a time, but do something fun and small quickly when you're stuck.

Okay, you all make me feel better.  It seems everyone still has some unfinished items.  I completly agree with the working on one big item and filling in with some smaller ones.

And I should have phrased my original post a little better; no detail is insignificant, but there definintely are some that could wait until closer to the wedding.
