sparklers trouble

So I waited until the day after July 4th to buy sparklers for the grand exit, because I thought they would be on sale.

Only when I went to the fireworks booth, they told me it is illegal state-wide to sell fireworks (even sparklers) after midnight on July 4th.

And now I don't know what to do!

could you order some online? i have no idea how fireworks work (i have never bought any before) so I guess i am not sure if that is even an option

That's the craziest thing I've EVER heard.

Here in Ohio, they're all pretty much illegal..but you can cross the border to Kentucky or Indiana..where firework stores are open all year long.

Any neighboring states that are big into fireworks??

Hahaha I'm in the middle of Texas... me crossing the border to a neighboring state would be like anyone else crossing three states :P

FI and I were JUST talking about this today. I sent him out on his way to work to pick up 1/2 price sparklers. Not sure if that happened or not. We did come across this site and will use it if we can't get any here. Sounds like they have extremely quick shipping. Our wedding is in 9 days!!!

Thats weird, and they still have the stands up. Don't people do fire works on new years and stuff. I didn't think they would only limit it to one day, especially since they have the stands up for a month before. Out in CO we have stores that sell them year round. Even the stands will sell you whatever you want even though there is a state wide ban on any firework. It was very quiet around here last night....
