Budget florist

Hi Ladies,

Could anyone recommend a good (and cheap) florist?  We need a bridal bouquet, toss bouquet, and 12-15 centerpieces.  We have 4 bridesmaids, 4 grooms men, 2 mothers and 2 fathers.

Thanks for any input!!

Melissa

I used Leslie from Whimsical Welcomes who was great at sticking with the number I told her at our first meeting.  She's a very out-of-the box thinker in terms of flowers, so she was able to suggest things I haven't even heard of before from local growers that helped save us some cash.  I would say more, but I don't want my post getting deleted :P

I also used Whimsical Welcomes.  My flowers were outstanding.  Leslie does have lots of ways to save you money and her prices are more than fair.  Check out her website and blog at www.whimsicalwelcomes.com. Good luck!

Whimsical Welcomes is a big thumbs up from brides here.

I used Celebrations Design Studio and LURVED them.  I will say that if your budget is tight... for your center pieces... let whatever florist you pick do what they want for the centerpieces.  We did that with our arrangements at the church, and they looked beautiful and pretty big.

I used Coupe Flowers. They were gorgeous. I had a bridal bouquet, toss, groom bout, 6 BM's, 2 jr's, 6 GM, 2 jr gm's, ring bearer, flower girl, 4 mothers, 2 GM's, 4 fathers, 2 GF's, 225 large orchid heads, and 4 huge arrangements for the ceremony. We used green cymbidium orchids, white roses, lisianthus, stefanotis w/crystals, fressia, hypericum berries, delphinium (basically- not just cheap flowers) and it was all for about $1200. I highly recommend them. They do an excellent job, work with your budget, and are extremely creative. Let me know if you want the owner's contact info.
