It's my last day at the job. I'm leaving mainly for commuting reasons. It would be the day that a tractor trailor turns over on the turnpike making my commute an extra HOUR. Thanks last day of work, for sucking even more then I thought you would.

If I just gave two weeks, instead of 2.5, I'd be laying on the beach right now with my best friend :-(. Thanks again, last day of work, for sucking even more then I thought you would.

I busted my @ss yesterday to get something done for our VP.  This morning my boss thanks me and asks if I can do it all over again, but slightly different.  Uh, no.  How bout she checks the one I did FIRST, then I'll do more to it.  She doesnt need a million variations of the same thing.  I dont care that she's the VP.  She can come sit with me while I do it if she wants that level of input.

Confession - I'm too lazy to call a recruiter back about a job because I dont think its a great opportunity.  Then again, I shouldn't be picky in this economy

I hate my job today........I dont make medical underwriting guidelines and I dont know why some ignorant a$$ people believe I do. I cant help that if you state to me in the first 3 mins that you have a drug problem and I tell you that unisurable you tell me Im out to get your money! I need a vacation

Here are some Wednesday thoughts from Cara:

My boss showed me her wedding photos yesterday and I didn't think they were that great. I didn't like her dress at all! Her decor and venue were nice though.

My FSIL sent me a large box of the most decadent cookies ever yesterday. She said it was a sweet treat (and then back to wedding training).  I don't understand why she did this.  We talk all the time about how I'm dieting and trying to lose weight.  She's a doctor and a fitness nut.  She should have known better. 

I had my trainer session on Monday and my legs are so insanely sore I am walking like an invalid.  We didn't even do anything crazy. Since I can't walk, I'm going to swim tonight, which is really just an excuse to sit in the hottub afterwards.

Vent - My !*$^#^$*#($* laptop wouldn't turn on last night.  I think it's officialy D-O-N-E.  I dont have money for a new one (hello, wedding!) and since most of the wedding stuff is already planned, I dont care if I don't have access to the internet at home.  I'm over the f'ing laptop!  Thanks Droid for having easy web navigation.

I'm just looking forward to a 3 day weekend ! I  get done early friday, i took off from my saturday job and my children are visiting with their dad for the weekend.

I'm officially OFF duty friday a 3 wooohooo!

Whine-  the mechanics annoying wife is walking around the office today in her normal slutacious garb.
 ..and I feel really uncomfortable because I realized we are basically wearing the same thing.  I instantly regret this outfit choice today.

nicole - when I was in college, during the summer I would go "home" which is S. Jersey, 15mi from AC.  I went to the beach 9:30 - 2 every weekday, then went home to shower and waitressed at night till 12am, then went out to the bar/clubs.  It was AWESOME at the time.  I would die on that schedule now.  I miss the beach...

the summer after high school I rented out chairs and umbrellas on the beach. it was the best job ever. of course I can't live off of that but I can dream!

j/k.  I am wearing a tank top and a pair of shorts with flip flops.  I know it's uber casual, but the chopper doesn't have air conditioning and I am already drenched in sweat.

I relate anything this chick wears as hoe-wear.  She rolled in here one time with a denim mini skirt that closely resembled the size of a potholder, a cropped sweater and white stilettos-- in February.

Speaking of shorts...

AW I wore a real pair of shorts (not mesh, not capris) yesterday to run errands.  I can't tell you the last time I wore shorts.  Usually they dont fit right and for the last few years I was self conscious because my legs werent in shape.  Woo hoo!

PS- FI looked at me in the shorts and said "where are you going trying to look cute?"  (playfully of course)  LOL  I was going to the nail salon.

MH - I hadn't worn shorts probably since 8th grade.  I was always super self-conscious of my legs too!  I finally lost weight and started running... I wore shorts last year for the first time in about 10 years! Now I just don't give a sh*t!

I wear shorts too, right now I have denim capris on. I am not very happy with the way my legs look so I have been going to stores getting cute summer dresses.

I never wear shorts, I like capris, even though they don't look right on me because of my height.  I think the only time I wear shorts is over a bathing suit.  Mayhaps this will be the year.

Same reason, I don't like my legs. Plus they ride up in the middle, which is SO attractive.

cara - if they have a drawstring waistband or belt loops, buy a size up.  When they're a little looser they tend to cling and rise less.

 I don't like the riding up either. I think my knees are my problem, I never liked them, even when I was skinny.

I go shopping for dresses but then I think I might look too dressed up if I wear them. I don't want to look all 'dolled up' if I am just going to the grocery store or something. So, I am trying to get more casual dresses so I don't feel strange wearing them.  I have one from Target, it  is like wearing a giant tank top. So comfy!

I don't wear shorts either unless they are cotton and come to my knee. I hate my legs.

Whine!  I just got my bpics web gallery.  I can't/won't look at it at work.  I tried to check the gallery on my phone and it needs an update to flash player to view the site.  Motorola is doing the update 'in the near future'.  AHHHHHHH!  Damnit!  Technology hates me lately.

AW: I think I am finally getting out of my lazy rutt!! I've been eating well and doing daily cardio for 4 days now. Granted, its only been 4 days but usually once I get to that point I'm good with sticking to it [unless I hurt myself or get sick -- then I have to start all over again]. I'm hoping to lose 10 lbs by my bday -- the end of June.

AW: I am performing in the annual staff act at my school's variety show tomorrow night.  Our theme this year is "Dancing with the Staff."  We're separated into pairs and each get 30 seconds to dance whatever we want to.  My science teacher nighbor down the hall got ambitious and decided that we're doing swing...Look for me all over YouTube on Friday....
