from a wedding.  And we had a really nice time!!!  However. One of the guests was wearing a white satin mini dress. WTF??  On what planet do you think that's a good idea???

Dupont Country Club in Wilmington.  GORGEOUS.  There were Christmas trees in every room (4 in the ballroom we were in) and everything was blue, silver, and white.  Absolutely beautiful.

One our wedding day, my friend's wife showed up in a white dress she wore to her rehearsal dinner two weeks before hand.  AND she showed up so late, that I ran into her as we were walking back down the aisle (as in, after man and wife).

don't people know the rules?!?! my one friend showed up in a silver dress but it was a light silver dress and it didn't bother me but personally I try to stay far far away from white as possible or anything that looks white.
