**If you're a vendor looking to advertise your company, contact The Knot for advertising space. Vendors are not allowed to post on boards. If you do create a post that is advertising, I'm going to have to delete any thread or post that is a blatant advertisement for your services and you will be banned as a vendor as well. **
Several of the Knotties on our board have recently been married on the Outer Banks and they are a wealth of knowledge as well, so please feel free to ask any questions that may come to mind.
Here are a few fun facts about the Outer Banks:

- The Outer Banks is the 3rd largest destination for weddings in the U.S., third only to Hawaii and Las Vegas
- Lighthouses are popular landmarks in the Outer Banks and the NC coast has lighthouses every 40 miles apart along the enire coast.
- Why is it Jockey’s Ridge? It used to be a horse racetrack.
