Hair/Make up advice

Hi ladies!
I've been doing a little research on hair/makeup and finding prices waaaaay more expensive than I thought.  I'm wondering who you ladies used/are using in the area?  I'm looking in the West Chester/Glen Mills/Wilmington area.  I'm hoping to do hair and makeup for under $200, to give you an idea of my budget.  Thanks!

  • If you are willing to go to Media check out Karma Salon and have Brittany do your hair. She is fantastic.

I am assuming you checked Joseph Anthony in Glen Mills? I thought they were right around $200.

Also, have you tried Peter's Salon in West Chester?

  • Nope, I haven't tried either of those!  I'm from Wilmington originally so even though I moved to Exton recently I'm not that familiar with salons in the area.  Thanks!  I'll check them out!

  • Also Currie Salon in Glen Mills (that's in Glen Eagle Square).  I went to Todd's Salon in Wilmington, and thought they did a great job.  Also Pagave.  Both Todd's & Pagave are in the Independence Mall on 202.
Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.

  • Depending on your hair and wedding, there are some good DIY hairstyles. I have long (small of my back length) hair that I'm going to do in big chunky rag curls and then pin away from my face and add a couple of sparkly decorative combs.
