Am on the OBX scoping things out with Mom- it is just perfect! You all have made the right choice. If I can pick up any magazines, etc for "ya'll" let me know. The visitors center will indeed make up bags for your guests and send you what you want! They also sell fun colored reusable bags for 2.00 a piece, I have found my OOT bags!

Today we are stopping by the rental company, hopefully a cake place(still working on this), rental chair/table place, have had dinner at the BBQ joint, stopped by Tommy's Market(wasn't as great IMO as everyone made it out to be, overpriced non OBX native things- I was thinking it'd be more like  a dean & deluca).

Happy to hear you are having a great time. Just curious, do we need to call the Visitors Center to give them a heads up or could I stop by on my way in to the OBX and pick up with I need. I don't want to wipe them out! ha

Well, I've been to multiple visitor centers as the ones in their area have more of their special brochures! 

The one in Currituck County and the one as mparwulski posted the link to both said they would make up bags if you call ahead of time. You can also probably just stop in- but it may go over better to call to ensure they have plenty of what you want set aside. Everyone has been very helpful. The only one that had the tote bags was the one "when you cross over the bridge" if you are coming from manteo. Keep in mind there is more than one bridge/way to access the area

I have their business cards in the car and can give you the numbers- but you can just google and call !

Did you go a rental company in Corolla, if so, which one? We're getting married in Corolla and are going down to do some planning the week of the 13th. I think we'll probably be checking out at least one rental company to find out about partial week rentals for our guests.

I'm probably not the best to ask- we have four houses rented from three companies. Only because each company had something different we wanted, the -
:event home: from Shoreline, worked with Laura in KittyHawk - house is 1245 Atlantic, Angler's Inn

complementary house across the street from Twiddy, worked with Candance at the Duck location- really helpful lady!

And then two more inexpensive houses for out of town guests from Karichele realty- is either in Duck or Corolla Worked with Ginger.

All the places were helpful when working with those I mentioned above!
