I have been on this computer ALL friggin' day looking at photography. One thing's fo sho - I'm sooooooo doing a TTD! I need some inspiration... know where I can get some? Did any of you do this or are any of you going to do this?

We did it and LOVED it.  I picked my dress up from the cleaners today and it looks good as new.  We had nearly 250 pictures, but I picked a sampling to put in my bio here- http://christiandryan.weebly.com/ttd.html

I'd recommend having your photos where there's something other than just beach in the background.  We were at an old pier and it just adds so much to the pictures.

We booked a TTD shoot, and I cannot wait to do it!  My fiance is less than thrilled, I think, but oh well.  He's wearing a white linen shirt and white linen pants for the wedding.  I'm not so sure how he'll feel about wearing this white outfit for the TTD shoot though, may get awkward when the outfit gets wet.... thinkin we'll need a plan B for his outfit on TTD day.

Teach - Those pictures are GORGEOUS! That top on under the pier is stunning. You had island photography, right?

Does anyone know how much the average TTD shoot is?

We did a TTD.  It was almost the best part of the wedding experience for us.  I have some pics in my married bio, and more on fb if you wanna see.

We did use Mike and Allie.  They gave us a great mix of shots. We have some really romantic ones, but then we have some really fun ones too.  They're also split pretty equally of just capturing us with each other and capturing us looking at the camera.  I like having both.

TTD seem to range around $200-300.

Funny!  DH didn't want to wear his wedding suit because he was afraid he'd ruin it.  Whatever. ;)  He just wore a nicer pair of khakis and a textured white dress shirt that was pretty similar to the one he wore on our wedding day. I wore my hair mostly down and went lighter on my makeup to make it look more relaxed too.  I kind of like that we have two different looks in our wedding pictures.

I like how we have two different looks also.   DH is wearing the same thing he wore on wedding day but we look more relaxed I think.

Exactly!  We've picked a few of both to frame for the house because we love them both so much.

I love, love, LOVED my TTD session!  I'm sure you will love it too.  It's awesome because you don't have to worry about missing cocktail hour or your reception while you are taking photos!    Here are some of my favorites   Like the other girls' husbands, my husband just wore khakis and a white polo for TTD.

Yeah I think I'll pack an extra outfit for Steve to wear for the TTD suit, similar to your husbands (oh my, does that sound weird still). 

Dwfangirl- I love that you have one of your bridesmaids with you!  That is cute!  I didnt' even think of asking them to come along!
