It's gorgeous and our rental house is awesome.  We won't be staying in an OBX hotel again... this is totally the way to go.

The smoke isn't an issue at all today and the sun is shining.  I hope I can say the same thing on our wedding day this Friday.  Every time we come back, I am reminded of just how much I love the OBX.  We've all picked a great place to get married.

If I can do anything for any one while I'm out here, let me know here. Send those beautiful day vibes my way too for the 24th!  =)

    Oh my goodness, I am so glad to hear that everything is great.

    Charlene and I were just talking about you and Ryan at breakfast, hoping that all was going well.  Good vibes are definitely coming your way.

    Thank you again for the brochure template.  I have finished Charlene's and I think she really likes it.  I gave it to her this AM and she got all teary eyed.  Heck, that was only the draft.  If you want to see it, I can email to you.

    What house are you staying in?  Yes, we agree that houses are about the only way to go.  Unfortunately, they are pricey in the summer.  But you can stay in certain areas and get more bang for your buck.

    I saw on facebook you made it.  Yay!!  I'll be thinking about you all week and hoping for nothing but the best weather for your big day, and whole trip of course!  Can't wait to be down there myself in 2 days.

    Basically, it is a tri-folded brochure to put in the OOT bags, if you are doing them.  It has a schedule, things to do, places to eat, a puzzle about you & FI, a thank you, some kind words, etc. 

    If you want a copy of the template, I will share.  It all started with Ms. Teach - I just modified to my needs.  We have some favorite restaurants, etc. that we included.  I loved that Ms. Teach added the prices of some things.

    We are staying in the Rowe Boat (sun realty #463B)... it is awesome and has more than enough room for us and the dogs.  We stocked our kitchen and assembled our OOT bags before inviting those who are already here (just a few) for a cookout.  They left an hour or so ago.  It was nice to have a little down time to test out the hot tub. It works! =)

    We have our final venue meeting tomorrow and are also going to get our marriage license. YAY!!  After that, it's all free time until Friday.

    I'm so glad that ya'll are getting so much use out of my template. It was really easy and I hope it works for everyone.  Our first guests received it tonight and loved it.  We also picked up some favorites from the welcome center.

    Laura--  I know you'll have a great time when you get here!  Make sure to encourage the sun while you're here.

    Yayyyyy Teach!  So glad you guys are down there and enjoying yourselves....make sure you get some good use out of that hot tub, he he he :)  Ok, let me behave over here.....or not!  LOL

    Thank you so much for the template....I was all teary--eyed when she gave it to me so I owe you a big thanks for starting all of that.

    Congratulations!!  Have SO much fun :)  I have almost a year yet to go so I'm still a "newbie."  Although I'm 8 months pregnant.  I have half of it planned already to keep my mind of the last month of waiting for my little girl!!  borderboo, I'm sorry to be yet ANOTHER asking for a personal email but would you mind sharing the template this way as well?     Thanks, ladies!  There's a slight rain chance, but it's been very hazy/smoke covered here the last two days and it isn't supposed to lift until Saturday.  Just our luck! ;)  But, we plan to have a great time anyway.
