Lets go with a super sappy thread.  What is the BEST thing about your FI?  Why did you say yes (or ask for Philly Wink)

Here's mine:

Ok I started this but don't think I can narrow it down to one. 
FI is the most amazing man I've ever met.  He has great opinions and thoughts that don't always match mine but he still manages to make mine feel important too.  He tells me and makes me feel gorgeous, even 9 months pregnant.  He adores my son (and has from the day he met him) more than I knew was possible.

    FI is super funny and can keep me laughing.  Humor has always been a biggie for me.  He has morals.  He would do anything for me just because he loves me and makes me feel like I'm the only woman on the planet.  He's the most amazing dad ever and would do anything for his daughter too.  He's not scared to tell me how he feels and challenges me on a daily basis and doesn't mind when I challenge him.

    Very sweet Keb...you gotta love a man in uniform!  He is coming home today or tomorrow?  I know you are just bursting at the seams!

    There isn't a day that goes by that Brent doesn't make my laugh, and I mean hysterically laughing, about something.  He is the funniest person I have ever met and he is without a doubt my best friend down to the core.  I tend to be socially awkward (I know, hard to believe huh?) and he is a social butterfly, so he balances me.  I tend to overthink things and worry about things beyond my control while he is the super-cool laid back guy...again, he balances me. 

    I just knew that I didn't want to spend the rest of my life without my best friend by my side.

    We've been together for 7 yrs(High School sweethearts)!!! Like many of your men, Sean keeps me laughing! He has a great sense of humor and is so outgoing, he can talk to anyone about anything. I'm a bit more shy, but he brings the best out of me. He makes sure I take time for myself and/or with my girlfriends; I don't need to be home cooking him dinner he says. He makes sure I go out and have fun!! He puts my needs before his own and would do anything to make me happy. He also gave me the most precious little boy a year ago and is by far the best daddy any little boy could ask for(i wasn;t allowed to change diapers for weeks after he was born, and he still prefers to give him a bath every night over me!!!-what man does this???)
    When we first started getting serious his 3-yes THREE- sisters weren't too fond of me to say the least. We did not get along and they would gang up on me :( FI stood up for me reagrdless of his families opinions :) Today, sisters and I are like best friends!!!

    Sorry so long, but I can't say enough good things about him.

    I think its great that you can't say enough, we should all be that way if it is right.  I must say that I love your post.  There is nothing like seeing the man you love as a father, especially when he is such a great one!

    I knew from within the first couple of months that I met Steve, that I wanted to marry him.  We had our rough times, like everyone else, but we toughed em out.  We are better than ever now!  He is wonderful, everything he does, he does to make my life better, and I love that.  He makes me very happy.  We have no trust issues whatsoever, we have our "we" time but we also still let eachother have our "girl" time and "guy" time which is so important to me!  He is not a daddy yet, but I watch him with my nephews, and I can't wait to watch him with kids of our own.  I know he will be a "cute dad."  What a good post!  Love reading everyone's posts!

    Awwwww, all you ladies are making me tear up with these posts! I will have to agree, that Doug makes me laugh. He is a gentleman, which is hard to come by these days. And not just in the beginning when we were dating, he still opens my door for me and pulls out my chair. It never gets old. He also is a wonderful cook and loves to cook for me. And my number one reason- HE IS SUPER CLEAN! I didn't know men existed who were clean! I love it because I am a bit of clean freak myself. He loves kids and kids love him. My neice was calling him Uncle long before we were engaged. Melts the heart <3

    As Sarah said... I LOVE these kinds of posts :)

    As for us... we knew each other back in High School and were sort of accquantances so to speak. We graduated and went on to separate lives with separate relationships and somehow wound up spying each other at a local restaurant in my home town. Its hard to explain but something about him in HS drew me to him, and the second we reconnected I knew there was a reason... I said yes because he is my best friend, he makes my days brighter, he is the calm while I am the storm so we help balance each other in all of lifes situations. We have also gone through some rough patches when the recession hit, but we made it through and are stronger than ever. I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else :)

    He's my best friend, he "gets" me, he makes me laugh, he makes me feel like I'm the only woman in the world, and he's just my favorite person to be around!  We're a good team and we balance eachother out well.

    Ah.. why did I say yes.. Philly is all of these things that have been mentioned, funny, etc., but I think one of the main reasons is that he takes care of me. I think after spending so much time taking care of myself, it's amazing to have someone to take care of me, if he has 2 of something (candy, money, etc), he'll give me both of them, rather than taking one for himself, if that makes sense. And, after over 4 years, I still get butterflies when I think about him!

    Ok Ladies.  Drum roll please.  Keb wants to know why I asked my beloved KSJ to be my wife?  I can't really explain it.  She completes me.  We compliment each other.  We have so many of the same "likes".  You know what's funny?  When I met her, her favorite teams were the Atlanta Braves(she loved Chipper Jones and I still think she does a little bit) and the Cleveland Browns of the NFL.  Now?  It's Philly to the extreme.  She's just as huge a Phillies fan(loves Chase Utley) as me.  Also loves the Eagles and can name the players, and a bonus.  Knew nothing about hockey until she met me.  Now?  Is as huge a Flyers fan as me and knows the rules, etc.  That, to me, is beyond sexy.  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-kiss.gif" border="0" alt="Kiss" title="Kiss" />  Sorry, couldn't resist.  She never had a Big Mac before she met me.  Now, the smell of them makes her go nuts.  Maybe not nuts, but gets her cravings going!  She never complains about my cooking even when I have an "occasional" hiccup, which doesn't happen all too much(yes, I pat myself on the back because I should have went to culinary arts school to become a chef).  This woman is such a joy to be around, from her smile, to her beauty, to her clumsiness, to those baby blues.  I could go on and on.  Has a great career and a great vision of "us".  When we first met each other in that Barnes and Noble cafe on February 17, 2007, I could sense that this had the makings of a long and loving relationship.  A relationship full of likes and dislikes.  Ups and downs.  Highs and lows.  However for every bad moment or tough time we know we have each other and that's the most important thing. 

    My first time down the aisle was the biggest mistake of my life.  My 2nd time will be one of the best days of my life.  Guaranteed.  Oh, and it doesn't help that the 37 year old gets to spend the rest of his life with a woman 8 years his junior. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />
