Confession:

After standing helplessly by watching Heather go through what she is, I can't help but think that even though life bites lately, I truly am blessed. 

It also made me realize that petty things are petty things, and need to be put aside.  We can lose the things that really matter in this lifetime so quickly, and it really hit home that what really matters is saying "I love you" to those you love every chance you get, saying "I forgive you" when something petty or a fight happens the first chance you get...never go to bed angry, and always say I love you and kiss each other goodbye before you leave, because you never know what may happen.

Confession:
I feel so helpless, being in DE while she is in GA.  I wish I could do more, be by her side. Right now she doesn't want to see anyone and is pretty much locked in her room with her uncle (her "dad" since she didn't have one growing up), and I understand that there isn't much I could do.  I think I am more worried about two, three weeks from now, when the funeral is over and everyone has gone back to work and the flowers have been thrown out...I just want her to be okay, and safe.

AW:
This board deserves an AW.  You all are so awesome, so kind and caring.  You don't even know Heather, but you offered prayers and love anyway.  You girls are so awesome, and I can't thank you all enough.

Call your FI/DH and say I love you, right now- please!

This is so so sad but true. Being that you realize this happens I know you will be there for her the best that you can. Hopefully your love and support will give her some strength.

I still want to throw my Blackberry out the window but am so grateful for not having anything so devistating happen to me right now. knocks.on.wood.

Amer- I request pictures. I want a coach bag so badly, except that I ruin purses like it's my job. The gorgeous b.makowski one my dad got me for christmas? I already cracked the hell out of the handles because I put too much in my purse. I'm sad.

MBR- my heart still goes out to her. This is reason 346945294857 why I tell FI I love him not only every time we get off the phone, but when we wake up, before bed, and 382 times a day. I'm petrified of losing him, especially since it took us so long to get together.

Dear "strangers",
I appreciate all the thoughts and questions about how H is doing.  Even though it's tiring to repeat the story a million times, and give a million updates, I'm happy that people care about how he's doing... and we're doing.

MH- I kinda feel bad because I haven't asked... mainly because I know it drove my mom & dad nuts when my mom had surgery & he had to tell everyone every day how she was doing.

how do you guys convince your FI/DH that an expensive something is worth it?

It's ok. I confess I'm really happy my FI cancelled his trip this weekend . He was supposed to visit one of our GM's this weekend but postponed it because of this freelance job he just got. The reason I am happy, is because his whole family is coming to visit this weekend and staying for a week, and as much as I love his family, I didn't want to be living with all of them without him haha.

I also confess I've been thinking of MBR's friend Heather all morning. I just don't know what I would do if I were in her position. I really hope she can stay strong in such a hard time.

MBR- you are so right about appreciating what you have and who you love. I think of this often and your friends story reminded me once again how lucky I am. It's okay to complain about every day things every once in a while- as long as in the end you realize what's important and what isn't. I'll def be keeping your friend in my prayers and hope that there's a light at the end of the tunnel for her.

Purses are the only thing that I splurge on, and I really use them, so DH is okay letting me splurge every once in a while.  I am really good about buying and not letting them sit in the closet.  I don't do shoes or anything else, so Coach and Vera Bradley get all my love.

I have been trying to find a nice black leather slouch bag, but haven't found one I really liked.  Coach has several, but they all have big logos all over and I want a plain black leather, no letters or big logos or anything.  It doesn't necessarily have to be Coach.  If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know- my birthday is coming up soon, and family is asking (they are all willing to go in on it for me)!

MBR--Did you check out the Breast Cancer store in Talleyville?  That's where I got my kate spade bag, and it was $39.  So you can splurge on a fancy fancy bag without the fancy fancy price.  They have coach bags there all the time.

Amy -- it might seem like a good idea at the time, but living with your parents right after getting married is awful!!!! Please make sure you have a quick exit strategy!!! We just did it after we sold his place until we could find a place to buy -- and we've been there since December!

Lady-  It would just be until we found an apartment.  We plan on only using it as a short term solution if needed.

Lady- Sometimes it's so hard to get an opinion out of him!  For an apartment searching before he wasn't picky.  Now when we look for a house.... I think that will be another story.  At least then we won't be living at my parents.

I am THE worst when it comes to purses...or I was and now that we have a house and wedding to save for, I stopped looking around for one. 

However, I'm gonna see if the FI will get me one as a wedding present. haha.  I doubt it though....he swears he'll never buy me one.  Why are guys so against purses?! We use them everyday.

MBR - I'm gonna look around for a slouchy black one for you.  What's ur budget?
