Ribbon Runners

Fi and I were thinking about doing a ribbon runner on our reception tables. We're already having 1 regular table runner on the table (from Shindigs)... but we were thinking of having a little extra either crossing over or under it. 

Here's a pink and orange ribbon runner...


Any ideas? Would it be just too much going on? Or would it be ok crossing either over or under?

    I think it's beautiful! Maybe do a regular runner AND ribbon runners on your sweetheart table (if you're having one) and then just the ribbon runners on the guest tables. What are you having for centerpieces? That can affect the overall image...

    I love it! I think it looks really nice and not too much going on but like CourtaniaLynn said it also depends on your centerpeices, the ones in the picture are simple enough so it looks great!
