worst songs to play or do not play list....

A while ago I was helping my friend make a do not play list for her wedding.  I thought since it's Friday it's something productive but fun we can do. 

My do not play list is:
-Twist
-Shout
-Twist and Shout
-Brick House
-YMCA
-Dancing Queen

I know you all will think I am crazy but I love the chicken dance.  I think it's so fun.
What are your DO NOT PLAY songs for your reception?

    Ohhh, I need to work on this list. I love your Do-Not-Play list! I would have to agree with all those songs but add a few more:

    -Total Eclipse of the Heart
    -Achy Breaky Heart
    -The Thong Song
    -My Heart Will Go On
    -Who Let The Dogs Out

    OK.....I have to override Dancing Queen b/c that is a song that my mother, sister and I have very fond memories of and it must be played for us :)

    And no one and I do mean no one, can do the Cupid Shuffle like I can.  You can bet your butts I will be movin and groovin all nigth long.

    Other than those 2....I agree with the rest of them.  This is actually really good for me b/c this is something I need to get started on....so please keep 'em coming :)

    I will be requesting "Dancing in September" which is an older song, but since we are getting married in Sept and it's a fun song to keep the crowd alive, I thought it appropriate.

    P.S.  I can also do the Thriller dance perfectly....it's pretty bad-ass actually!  I actually broke it out one night (wayyyyyy too much alcohol) in the middle of Buffalo Wild Wings....it was awesome!!!!  All those years of ballet & jazz must of paid off, lol

    You guys did take the good ones.  No Hokey Pokey.  No country songs.  What is the Cupid Shuffle?

    We definitely need to all figure out a get together in OBX some time.  I'd like to see everyone bust some moves.

    I would like to see this thriller dance. Perhaps a video should be taken of Brent & Charlene's entrance to Thriller? That's my vote.

    @ Sarah....now getting Brent to do this is the hard part.  His idea of dancing is bending his knees and swaying his hips from side to side...lol

    Yes, I've seen this.  I call it Bad White Boy Dancing.  Believe it or not, I first saw FI dance about a month and a half ago.  I was shocked because he went out there first.  Now, I'm a dancer, so there WILL be dancing.

    I just told the DJ not to play anything with a specific corresponding dance, which covers most of those mentioned!  I did actually request Dancing Queen for same reason as Charlene - fun memories of the song with my sis.  :)  But Matt Cooper was awesome and didn't play anything I wouldn't have ok'ed.
