Is everyone using an officiate they know? A family member or pastor from home town?

I don't have one yet and need HELP! We've passed the three month mark and now I have less than 90 days.

Peadar Dalton was recommended, but unavailable. They suggested Tim Boeve who is available.

I would also like to hear what you are doing during your ceremony? Unity candle? Wine themed ceremony?

    i haven't booked my officiant yet, but did quite a bit of research.  i have been talking with Rev. Tim Mills and really like him. I will most likely book him. I believe he charges $550 to officiate your wedding. Hope everything works out!

    We are now planning on inviting a friend of ours to travel with us and perform the ceremony. We will probably spend the same amount of money either way, and it would be more special if a close friend does the wedding. We have more hoops to jump through though... he has to get certified on the Thursday prior to our Saturday wedding.

    My fingers are crossed that he says yes.
