I am in need of some advice and please allow me to vent about this situation! lol One of my bridesmaids is getting married this Sunday in New York City. I am also one of her 9 Bridesmaids. For her wedding she had all of us buy a $200 bridesmaids dress and told us all that she is having a stylist come to the hotel and we all need to have our hair in an up-do and the cost for the stylist is $140/each in the city. I also got her a bridal shower gift that she later told me "I just dont know what happened to it. I think it might have gotten thrown away." I got her a white silk bridal robe from VS with "Bride" on the back. I have YET to see any kind of a thank you card from the shower that was in JULY!!!
I usually give a wedding gift, a card with a generous amount of $$. BUT, in this case I am just pissed off that she is MAKING us all spend $140 on getting an up-do because she demands to be the only one with her hair down. I am considering not giving her a wedding gift. I mean, I have my own wedding to pay for too. lol
