My FI and I bought these energy saving lights that change colors for the Christmas Tree. We loved them at first. After a while we realized that they were extremely dim. So tonight after he left for work I decided I had to take the lights off the tree and return them to the store before Christmas is over (if I would've waited I would've gotten 1/2 price because I threw the recipet away). In the process of taking the lights off the tree I knocked the tree completely over. It fell down and a good portion of the ornaments with it. Our tree now looks like it has fallen down a flight of stairs. My FI is at work and has no idea about the tree. He was already upset because I've been making fun of our tree, it's a live tree but I'm pretty sure it's been dead for a week or more. I didn't find a new set of lights I wanted and didn't feel like going to any other stores to find lights I did like. So now my FI is going to come home to our sad Christmas tree. I hope he won't be too mad!
