Professional Pictures on CDs Arrived!

I got all my professional pictures on cds! They arrived yesterday. I'm so happy because they are the original files and now I can order them to be printed. Since I have the copyrights for them I can upload them to Snapfish.com or mpix.com and order them from there.

Congrats!

Personally, I think there's something wrong with having to have the copyrights to photos of yourself.

Sure am.  The photographer is a close personal friend of mine and I'm only getting pictures on CD/DVD....

I had a lot of trouble uploading to shutterfly. Maybe I will try those websites.

MPix is supposed to have way nicer photos than places like Snapfish, Shutterfly, Costco, etc. I use those printing services for everyday photos but I'm planning on paying a little more to get better quality wedding photos. Right now I'm looking into MPix, Persnickety Prints, AdoramaPix, or Nations Photo Lab.

I haven't got mine yet, but will get it at some point. Probably when we finish the album and get that. As an artist, I can see the copyright thing, but I don't think the stores and websites should be as picky if you obviously have the CD from the photographer.

I ordered 388 4x6 prints for $120. I don't think that's too bad. And yes Mpix is what actual photographers use so the quality is supposed to be much better than Snapfish, Shutterfly, Kodak, etc.

Let me know how you liked them if you got them from Mpix.  That's who my photographer said to use when we get ours back.
