Hi Ladies!
This is not directly wedding related, but am in need of some advice/encouragement and thought this would be the best board to post on (everyone here is so nice and friendly-thank you all!)
My fiance and I recently moved into an apartment together about 45 minutes from where we grew up. While it is so exciting to be living with him and starting our life together, I have been having a really hard time with it. I am very close to my family; especially my mom and have been really homesick since we moved. This is my first time away from home (I had commuted during college and stayed living at home) so I am hoping that this is normal feelings? I feel bad being upset, and dont want my fiance to think that I am not happy living here with him. Any advice on how to help with this homesick feeling?
