January 2012 Weddings

Something always goes wrong....

before we go on a trip.  Today is our last day at home before flying out to Colorado for the wedding.  I'm at work trying to finish things up and my FI just texted me that he lost his wallet.  Great!  I'm hoping he can find it before we fly out tomorrow.  Not sure what he'll do for an id if he can't find it.  Maybe a DMV trip later this afternoon if he doesn't.

While I'm not freaking out, it is slightly frustrating.  Now tomorrow if it isn't found or fixed yet then I'll be freaking out.

  • I hope he finds it! If not you'll need to get to DMV first thing in the morning (or this afternoon). I bet he just misplaced it.

Yay someone found it and turned it in on the air force base he works at.  They just called to tell him about it.  I love good Samaritans.  And it greatly improved his mood to not have to go to the DMV.

Edit: Although him misplacing it was my first thought as well.  He does have a habit of forgetting it at home.  I've had to take it to him before.  I was hoping that was what happened this time.  But nope, he must have dropped it while on base this morning.

  • Oh how lucky! Good luck since we won't really get to chat with you!!!! I can't wait to see pictures :)
  • Sounds like my FI he is always misplacing his wallet. I'm glad someone turned your FI's in.

  • I am glad that he got it back. It is great that there are still good people in the world. And you could have always used his passport as an ID. Would have been a hassle though.
