Ladies,
I know "the rules" say that you should mail your invitations about 6-8 weeks out from your wedding date. What are you making your RSVP deadline? Are you adding extra time in to account for the craziness of mail that comes with the winter holidays?
My wedding is January 14 and I was thinking about mailing invites around December 1 with a deadline of December 20. My vendors need a final count 10 days out (January 4) so I was thinking that I had plenty of time to chase response cards down. Any thoughts out there?
