when do we register?

when are we supposed to register? I know it kind of depends on when you have showers and what not....but on average. what's the guideline? Has anyone thought about this yet?

I don't know about "supposed to", but we've already done it.  Doesn't hurt anything and its a great time out with the two of you.

Weird, this is the only way I was able to respond. I registered around Christmas since my birthday is really close by and it was just easier to send people to the registry than to answer the "what do you want for christmas" over and over. (i have a large family)
