where could out of town guests stay at a hotel where we could get a discount for a group?

From what I understand, you just have to call around and ask hotels if they do "hotel blocks" for guests.  Hotels that do this will set aside a certain number of rooms at a specific rate for your guests.  I still need to do that too actually.

We closed off a very good deal at the Embassy Suites Paloma Village.

I dont know what kind of hotel you are thinking about booking for your guests but I highly recommend the Westin La Paloma!
