East Coast Entertainment Bands

Does anyone have any experience with any of the East Coast Entertainment bands?

There are SO many to choose from, and I would love some help finalizing my selection.

Thanks in advance!
Kim

We are looking at Alternate Take-I believe they are based in GA, so they don't show up on the SC search, but they have been recommended to us by several people and are within our budget.

    From the Charleston are search:
Super Deluxe is awesome if you're into '80s music and they are in your budget.  Quiana Parler is worth a look, as is Coastline.  If you like harder classic rock, Ellen Drive is worth a listen.  I'm not really into Plane Jane, but some folks love 'em.

I actually know some of these people and did a lot of research before picking a band (via committee) for our HS reunion.  I've also seen a lot of those bands perform-I haven't heard a dud yet.  A lot of these acts have separate web pages.  Yes, Super Deluxe won b/c they played a lot of music from our HS era :).

I booked Travis Allison Band for my October 2011 wedding. I have heard nothing but awesome reviews! Everyone I have talked to says he can keep everyone on the dance floor even if its the hottest night of the year.

I've heard great things about the Finesse band and even looked into them. My parents attended a wedding they played and LOVED them. In fact, they were already booked or else I would have booked them for my reception. I've never heard them in person, but I've talked to others (besides my parents) that have seen them and they said the Finesse band is a lot of fun and keep people dancing all night! Hope this helps! :) Congrats!

I've been to  a wedding with Travis Allison band.  Loved them, but we didn't have enough in our budget.   Kept everyone into dancing and didn't take a break every 10 minutes.  Good Luck!!!

You should definitely look at "The Men of Distinction" they have a facebook page too! They are absolutely amazing and get the guest involved with singing and dancing it truely is probably one of the best wedding party bands i have ever heard. They play everything you could ever think of and are very professional. i promise you wont have any regrets!!!!
