My better half and I are getting married in Vegas on Halloween by no other than.....Elvis!! That is my favorite holiday and we figured that would be a great memory and some pretty funny pictures. We're planning on staying out there for about a week and then coming home to do the reception. I'm torn on if I should/could wear my wedding dress since I'll only be wearing it for about an hour, at the most, for the ceremony. I absolutely love the dress and it isn't something I'd normally pick out and with my job (law enforcement) not very many of those attending have seen me "all girly". Also, we were planning on having a Halloween themed reception since we are geting married on that day. I want to keep it fun but not turn it into a child's Halloween haven. And lastly, for delayed receptions how is the order supposed to go? For example, do you still do a first dance, toss garter and bouquet, etc etc. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
