Sunday Brunch Location

Hi Ladies,I'm looking for a location for a Sunday brunch the morning after our wedding. All of our guests will be traveling to Charleston just for the wedding and I'd like have an informal meal with everyone before they all head out in different directions. I was thiking about High Cotton...what do you all think? I want it to be a nice relaxed environment, good food, but also something that can only be found in Charleston. You know, that last GREAT CHARLESTON impression before they leave town. ThanksSharon

SOOOO many good options around here... some of my favorites that can accomodate a larger group and will let you reserve something in advance are The Boathouse (on IOP), 82 Queen (downtown) and the Old Village Post House (Mt Pleasant). We ended up using Laura Alberts on Daniel Island for our brunch and have absolutely no complaints.  I would recommend them, but I sense something over on Daniel Island would not be what you are looking for.

I love High Cotton! I have heard that the Barbadoes Room at the Mill House Hotel is really good for brunch too.

I attended a BEAUTIFUL Brunch wedding at the Legare -Waring House at Charlestown Landing. The Ceremony was under the oaks and the guest enjoyed live Dixieland Jazz on the lawn. The house is stunning and your guests can wander about. A truly memorable day!
